We welcome everyone in Bearwood to play, share and create new games over a weekend of fun, free and playable events. Activity will take place in public spaces across Bearwood and keep your eyes peeled for some pop-up game surprises! All free, everyone welcome.

GoodGame Sharing Event

Thimblemill Library, Bearwood
You are invited to attend an fun and inspirational event exploring the GoodGame project, which has been taking place across Bearwood and Smethwick during this Spring and Summer.
The event will be an opportunity to experience and play new games created with the community, discover how using games might support your own work.

The Games Exchange

Drop into the market and share your favorite games with us and add them to the GoodGame art mural. Stay and play classic and new games with family and friends. The Games Exchange has been developed by artist Betab Zena as a place for people to meet and play games they love with - with friends, or with people they've never met before. This three day pop-up will transform a unit in the market into a games space.
Free, drop-in - no need to book.
Play, Break, Remix

Warley Woods Meadow, near Abbey Road entrance to the park
Join us for an outdoor game making session where we'll be making, breaking and mashing up familiar sports and games in pursuit of new games we can play together.
Bored with the same old games and sports, or remember a time when you made up your own games and kept on changing the rules to keep it exciting?
The session is suitable for anyone between 8 and 80 years old. Please bring loose fitting clothes and footwear suitable for active outdoor play.
