Family Games Design Workshops
Friday 6 July, 10am - 1pm

Saturday 7 July, 12 - 4pm
Thimblemill Library, Bearwood, B67 5RJ
Play, remix and design games about living Bearwood and Smethwick in a hands on creative workshop. Drop-in, no need to book. Adults can join in too!
Some activities at Thimblemill may take place outside the library - sensible outdoor clothing and footwear is recommended.

Warley Woods Picnic in the Park

Free Family Workshop (Ages 6+ - suitable for adults too!)
Look out for our GoodGame Gazebo in the meadow area - play and make games with artists, changing the rules as you go. We’ll gather inspiration from the woods, tell stories and learn games new and old.
Activities are best suited for children aged 6+. Sensible footwear and outdoor clothing recommended.
The Games Exchange
Thursday 26 July - Saturday 28 July, 12 - 3pm
Bearwood Indoor Market, Bearwood Road, B66 4BE
The Games Exchange has been developed by artist Betab Zena as a place for people to meet and play games they love with - with friends, or with people they've never met before. This three day pop-up will transform a unit in the market into a games space, with an evolving wall mural that you can add your favourite games to - building a picture of what games mean to people in Bearwood and Smethwick.
Free, drop-in - no need to book.
