We’re excited to invite you and your community to participate in an incredible initiative that will get people growing food together this summer. Grow Your Road Project is an opportunity for Birmingham & Sandwell residents and teachers to come together and create a more sustainable and connected future.

Do you dream of turning your street into an urban oasis filled with edible plants? Or perhaps you're an educator who envisions your school class as a catalyst for positive change, learning about nature and sustainability firsthand. By joining this project, you will have the chance to revitalise your neighbourhood or classroom and inspire others to do the same.

How to get involved

1. Nominate your street!
   Sign up to receive a free Street Grow Kit, with easy-to-use growing materials for 30 households with everything people need to go from ‘pot to plate’. Seeds, pots, compost and how-to guides make food growing, cooking and sharing between neighbours as easy and accessible as possible. 
   

2. Nominate your school class!
   Sign up to receive a free Class Grow Kit, specifically designed for school use with growing materials and tools so children can start in the classroom and take the plants home for the summer holidays.
   

3. Pop along to a workshop!
   This summer we will be popping up at events and festivals across Birmingham and Sandwell to get people growing and hand out free growing kits. Follow us on Instagram for more details.
